Emanuele MARCOTULLIO
Architect, Phd, since 2009 professor with temporary appointment at SAD, School of Architecture and Design in Ascoli Piceno - UNICAM, Italy.
In 2010 he got PhD at SAD. Title of the thesis: "Comuni(cit)tà, practices and settlements of the contemporay communities".
In 2013 he is invited to participate to YAP at MAXXI-Rome and in 2014 at the Wheelwright Prize of Harvard University – Graduated School of Design for a travel-based research.
He participates to national and international research and workshops:
1. Re-cycle Italy. Research funded by MIUR - Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (in progress).
3. Kultur Fabrik Perugia – re-design of the former male prison. International workshop-competition, Perugia, Italy (2013).
3. Favelas con vista. International workshop, Pescara, Italy (2012).
4. Plan for the reconstruction of Tempera – L’Aquila. Research funded with national funds for the Reconstruction after earthquake (2010-2011).
5. Learning from cities, International workshop at 10th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia.
After designing the exhibition Re-Cycle, strategies for architecture, city and planet at MAXXI Museum in Rome, he keeps managing the technical coordination of Demanio Marittimo - Km 278. He also designed the set-up of exhibition Gola, arte e scienza del gusto for Marino Golinelli Foundation and La Triennale di Milano.
